I am Ronel Coetzee, an occupational therapist in Kimberley. I work with adults who are recovering from an injury, illness or operation, and with people living with pain or lasting changes to their health, so they can manage daily life on their own again.
How I can help
Hand and arm therapy
Care after a hand injury or surgery, and help with sore, stiff or arthritic hands. Includes splints, exercises and pain relief.
Getting back on your feet
Recovery after a stroke, spinal injury, hip replacement or serious accident, so you can dress, cook and move around on your own again.
Living with low vision
Practical training and small changes at home for people who have recently lost part of their sight, so daily life stays safe and manageable.
Reports and assessments
Detailed assessments and reports for Road Accident Fund, insurance and injury-on-duty (COID / RMA) claims.
A small practice, close care
I started this practice in Kimberley in 2020, during the hardest part of the COVID years, and it has grown through the kindness of this community and the doctors who trust me with their patients.
I qualified with a B Occupational Therapy degree at the University of the Free State, and have done further training in the areas I work in. Every plan is built around one person: what you need to be able to do, and what stands in the way.
I see clients in Kimberley and travel throughout the Northern Cape. Visits are by appointment only, so there is always time to listen properly.
